On September 23rd, as the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays drew near, the 2023 Chengdu Flower Exhibition, themed “Park City, Wonderful Life,” officially opened at Konggang Sports Park in Shuangliu District. The Eastern New Area Exhibition Garden, designated as the primary venue for  the Expo 2024 Chengdu, presents the enchanting “Blooms” flower exhibition, encapsulating the captivating theme of “Konggang Park, Expo Venue.” Its design concept was esteemed with the prestigious 2023 Chengdu Flower Exhibition Golden Hibiscus Award.

The 2023 Chengdu Flower Exhibition has extended invitations to over 40 participants, including eight national friendly cities such as Chongqing, Guangzhou, Wuhan, Shenzhen, Deyang, Nanchong, Meishan, and Ziyang. It has also engaged park city construction and garden greening authorities from various districts and counties in Chengdu, along with universities, enterprises, and more. The exhibition is presented under three major categories: “Garden,” “Flower Market,” and “Forum,” showcasing the profusion of blossoms in Chengdu while crafting a captivating image of happiness in the city.

This year's Chengdu Flower Exhibition will run until October 7th. During the Mid-Autumn and National Day holidays, we warmly invite citizens to visit the “Konggang Park, Expo Venue” in person to experience the unique floral creations and join us in eagerly anticipating the arrival of the Expo 2024 Chengdu.
